Personal Views on the new Nokia N9

My opinion on the Nokia N9

Design
-The unibody polycarbonate body feel plastic but very solid.
-3.9-inch AMOLED panel with gorilla glass which infuse with ClearBlack display makes the colour sharper than ever with premium protection.
-The speaker placement have been improve by placing it at the bottom unlike previous nokia phones are behind.
-The air gap between the glass and AMOLED panel have been removed to give user a 2.5D effect experience.

One Homescreen 3 simple views
-The notification view pulls all feeds from your social network and display it in one view.
-Multitasking view display all your running apps in real time. I have manage to run 20 windows and it still runs smooth.
-Menu view display all your apps/games but there only a minor flaw you are unable to create folders out of the box.
-The homescreen shows notification from your messages,call records and feeds you can access to by a simple swipe gesture.
-All the above can be reach with just a simple swipe

Responsiveness
-Once you tried the Nokia N9 swipe gesture you get addicted and its fluidity seems effortless.
-Web browsing experience have been improve it loads faster than ever. Only flaw it doesnt support adobe flash out of the box.
-Its packed with a 1GHz Cortex A8 CPU, PowerVR SGX530 GPU for your multitasking needs

Multimedia
-Speaker quality is average
-Due to the AMOLED with clearblack display watching video on the Nokia N9 is just amazing experience it yourself
-I tested with my Mylarone crossroad earphone the audio quality is just beautiful with its 3.5mm jack.
-Nokia N9 supports Dolby Mobile sound enhancement and Dolby Headphone support for your surround sound experience like my home theater system.


Camera
-Camera comes with 8megapixels carl zeiss lens with F2.2 and in destructive editing tool and you can share your work to social network or friends via NFC.
-The camera comes with geotagging for you to remember where you have taken your photos
-The camera currently have the fastest autofocus (AF) in mobile phone due to its continuous tracking for both video and image mode.
-Minimum closeup mode is 10cm

Contacts
-You can integrate your contact list with your social networks just by merging them. Your friends photo will be integrated into your contact list as well.
-You can create groups and sort your contacts according including customizable ring tones for each group.

Messaging
-The messaging supports facebook, skype chat and etc out of the box. The history will appear in your messaging as well.
-Nokia N9 supports SMS and MMS messaging
-The disappointment part for me it doesnt support alphanumeric keyboard out of the box only vertical and horizontal qwerty keyboard.

GPS Navigation 
- Free life time navigation from ovi maps
- 2D/3D view
- Lane assist
-Manage to get a lock in 30 seconds to 3mintues depending on your location
-Search your destination in online/offline mode



My Conclusion the Nokia N9 emphasis itself in a way that everything is simplify by a swipe gesture.. Every morning i unlock my phone by double tapping and all my notification from social networks feeds have been pull i enjoy my coffee while viewing it wi
thout staying connected to the internet to conserve my battery.
My battery life able to survive for 25 hours with average usage of social networks, calls and sms. Here just a brief review of my Nokia N9 will update soon in my next post
